'Sally' Bow headband

The 'Sally' has a real mod look with the large tan circles on a black background. This large bow with its black ribbon centre has been created from the recycled fabric of a skirt. The fabric feels like a strong cotton and the bow has been positioned on a new black satin headband to sit up/forward rather than flat. Each piece is finished off with the Miss Dish signature label. The measurement of the bow is about 19cm. This headband is a limited-edition piece.

The 'Little Trees' giant bow headband (about 24cm) is created using a gorgeous black and white fabric with little birds and trees. The fabric is hand screen printed in Australia on certified organic cotton using water based dyes - and all with the use of solar power! The bow is finished with a red ribbon and is fixed to a new white headband. This particular bow is flexible where you can either flatten it to the shape of your head or stand it up a bit for a different look. The 'Madeleine' Bow with veiling is created from recycled vintage fabric from a 60's dress. The bow is embellished with antique hand woven lace from the Victorian era and is attached to a recycled comb (cleaned & disinfected). The black russian veiling is new and forms a cloud upon which the large bow sits. The Madeleine bow and veiling is One-of-a-Kind using the 60's fabric. The 'Veronica' is a 1930's style garland of flowers created from luxe fabrics of satin, organza and lace. The 11 handmade flowers are attached to a thin satin headband with baby flowers starting just above the ear graduating to gorgeous large flowers grouped at the crown of the head. The flowers are embellished with hand sewn vintage and new buttons, sequins and diamantes. The photo shows a mixture of lovely purple and ivory flowers attached to an ivory satin headband. I adore the jewel like colours of Dupion Silk as well as the crisp feel of the fabric. The bows are so amazing as you can play with the shape to either flatten it to fit the shape of your head or puff them up for a fuller look.
